Every mission needs a friendly face. Ours is Mr Chip.
He began as a simple idea: that getting online, learning new skills, and feeling confident with technology shouldn’t be cold or complicated. It should feel human. So Mr Chip was drawn by hand by John Adewole. He’s a little orange games controller with bright eyes, a warm smile, and a heart at the centre of everything he does.
That heart is the point. At IFB Gaming, we believe digital inclusion isn’t really about devices or data plans. It’s about people, and about making sure nobody has to figure it all out alone.
Mr Chip is how that belief shows up. He pops up across our tools, from the Digital Inclusion Toolkit to the Stage Index, offering a tip here, a bit of encouragement there, and a reminder that there’s always a next step, and always someone in your corner.
He’s not an expert looking down. He’s a companion sitting beside you, cheering you on, one click at a time.
