About IFB Gaming
IFB Gaming is a UK-based research and learning organisation dedicated to reducing digital inequality, empowering communities, and promoting inclusive technology.
Founded by John Adewole in 2019, IFB Gaming was originally created to connect researchers, academia, and higher education institutions with the often hard-to-reach video gaming communities. The aim was to help bridge the gap between academic research and the rapidly evolving world of interactive digital technologies.
Since its founding, IFB Gaming has evolved into a leading research, learning, and community engagement organisation in London, working at the intersection of digital inclusion, education, and emerging technologies.
Today, IFB Gaming collaborates with community organisations, educators, policymakers, and industry partners to explore how gaming, digital tools, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence can support digital participation, learning, and community resilience.
Through research, programmes, and partnerships, IFB Gaming seeks to ensure that the benefits of technology are accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all communities.
We combine gaming culture, digital education, sustainability, and community-led research to design
practical, scalable solutions that help people participate confidently in a digital society.
