Have an Informal Conversation
We welcome informal conversations before you apply. This is a chance to ask questions about the board, the organisation, and the role, no pressure, no application required yet.
Apply
Send your CV and a short expression of interest, no more than two pages, outlining what you’d bring to the role. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so there’s no need to wait for a deadline.
Meet the Board
Shortlisted candidates meet the Chair and relevant board members to explore fit in both directions, your skills and judgement, and whether IFB Gaming’s mission and ways of working are right for you.
Appointment & Induction
Once appointed, you’re formally registered as a company director and inducted into IFB Gaming’s governance: board papers, financial reporting, the seven principles of public life, and the responsibilities that come with the role.
Active Board Membership
You provide oversight and constructive challenge, contribute to strategy, and act as an ambassador for IFB Gaming and Empowering Futures, all on a predictable rhythm of roughly one day a month.
Renewal or Succession
Terms typically run three years and can be renewed once. As your term ends, you can step forward for a further term, move into an ambassador or advisory capacity, or help identify and welcome your successor.
