A newly established Community Interest Corporation (CIC) based in London and dedicated to addressing local challenges, promoting community well-being, and driving social impact is looking for a Director. As they embark on the journey, they seek a Volunteer Director to join the board and help guide the organization’s strategic direction and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide strategic leadership and governance oversight
– Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting
– Monitor financial performance and ensure accountability
– Engage with stakeholders and build partnerships
– Support program development and evaluation
– Ensure legal and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

– Commitment to social impact and community development
– Previous experience in board or leadership roles
– Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of governance, financial management, and legal requirements
– Ability to commit approximately 5-10 hours per month
